My garage door came off the tracks at 6:00 last night and was dangling precariously over my beloved car. I couldn't open or close the garage. It was stuck halfway. I was going to have to sleep in my garage to protect my property. I'm 5' tall - not a real threat to would-be robbers. Then after Googling garage door repair, up popped Mike's - 24 hours!! I called him in tears.

Car was stuck in garage with broken door. Called Mike and he asked to send him some pictures so he had an idea of what needed to be done and if he had the proper parts on hand. Came the next morning to confirm problem and was back in the afternoon and fixed the issue. Prices reasonable, was on time, personable, and appreciate that he was very efficient with his and my time! I'll be coming back to him to get my gate fixed next!

Mike figured out exactly what I needed from a couple of pictures I texted him and my description, and fixed my garage door on the next working day. He fixed the part that was broken, the big spring, and then replaced the two side cables for just $10 more.

I had first gotten a quote from a different highly-rated company on Yelp, which had cost me $50. They'd quoted me all these repairs and replacements with premium parts that would've cost ~$800 more than what Mike charged me. Mike was really up front and we kind of laughed as he identified the other company's style perfectly: that they have this fancy list of things that need to be done and up-sell on every single part.

Instead, it was so refreshing to work with someone who is honest and up front and does the work competently without any of that salesman vibe. And I can't beat the convenience of texting pictures to diagnose the problem instead of having to set up another appointment just to get a quote.

I would gladly hire Mike again and have recommended him to my neighbors in North San Jose.

Fortunately for me, My garage door didn't need any work done, and Mike simply adjusted minor wiring on the censors and provided me with useful maintenance tips I wouldn't know otherwise. Since there was no major work needed, Mike didn't charge me at all.

I have an iron gate surrounding my property. The gate hinge broke and I was referred by a friend to call Mike. He came over quickly, gave me a good estimate and welded the hinge. He did the job right and I enjoyed talking to him while he worked. I highly recommend Mike.

Had a problem with my gate not responding Mike came out same day and trouble shot my gate opener and got it working ,nice guy honest and reasonable prices and he also did a free preventative maintenance on gate as we'll .
